Securing your EcoSmart Fire model to the floor is a simple but important step for safety and stability. This guide walks you through installing stainless steel fixing brackets, helping ensure your fireplace is firmly positioned for reliable, everyday use.
The brackets can be installed facing inwards OR facing outwards.
IMPORTANT: Not all models are suitable for inwards facing assembly. Before determining the direction of the brackets check that you can safely access the model to perform the assembly e.g. Is it too high to perform the assembly; Is it too narrow to perform the assembly; is the burner unable to be removed for assembly.
Damage made to the model during the assembly is NOT covered by Warranty.
Equipment required:Hammer Drill with 8mm / 5/16in Masonry Drill Bit (if installing into concrete), mallet, wrench, short Phillips head screw driver or power drill (if installing onto timber).
1. Confirm you have received all necessary parts as illustrated.

2. Remove the burner and accessories from the model.

3. Remove the articulating feet / rubber feet from the underside of the model (NA Grates). Retain all parts as these will be re-used in this assembly.

4a&b. Align the brackets (Parts A) with the existing holes in the underside of the model as shown and use the articulating feet / rubber feet (including any assembly parts like spacers) to attach the bracket to the model.
Remember, use all parts that were in place for the existing articulating feet / rubber feet.

4c. Install the brackets (Parts B) with Phillips screws (Parts E) at an angle (inward or outward depending on access shown in 5a-b).

5a. OUTWARD FACING: Place assembled product in desired permanent position and mark the four (4) fixing points.

5b. INWARD FACING: Place assembled product in desired permanent position and mark the four (4) fixing points.

6. TIMBER INSTALLATIONS: Align parts C & D as shown. Drive self tapping screws into timber with power drill or screw driver.

7a. CONCRETE INSTALLATIONS: Drill fixing holes on marked areas using hammer drill + masonry drill bit. Clean/blow out dust from drilled hole.

7b. Align Masonry bolt (Parts F) to hole positions, use a hammer to secure the bolts until its flange rests against the brackets.

7c. Tighten the bolt with a wrench.
